No Kings Protest March
On June 14, 2025, No Kings, the largest collective protest in American history took place across the country in opposition to the Trump Administration’s authoritarian policies and practices. The lead protest location was designated to be Philadelphia, the birthplace of the Republic. Official estimates of the crowd size range from 80,000 to 100,000—when the head of the march reached the speakers’ stand on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, marchers could still be seen as far back as City Hall, at the other end of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Lead speakers included Rev. Wm. Barber, Rep. Jamie Raskin, members of Martin Luther and Coretta Scott King’s family. Coordinated with the City, the event was entirely peaceful and without incident.
