After Wyeth: Kuerner Farm

After Wyeth: Kuerner Farm features images created on a slightly overcast spring day and then on a bright fall afternoon in 2019, courtesy of The Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art. Andrew Wyeth created many of his iconic works at the Kuerner Farm in Chadds Ford, PA – including “Spring Fed,” featured on the USPS stamp to the right. (See the bucket below.) The farm has been preserved by the Conservancy much as it was when Andrew Wyeth worked there – the (now mostly empty) farmhouse, the three-story barn, the low ice house, and various outbuildings.
