Count Every Vote
Immediately after the tumultuous 2020 presidential election, Philadelphia’s Convention Center became one of the focal points for opposing sides who wanted to “Stop the Count” or “Count Every Vote.” On Wednesday, November 4, 2020 – the day after the election – local unions and POWER, a progressive interfaith organization, held a rally at nearby Independence Mall, followed by a march down Market Street to City Hall. The dramatic centerpiece of the event was a huge three-part sign that was carried by participants on the march and laid at the feet of City Hall.
